Creswell Invitational Volleyball Tournament

Greetings and welcome to our annual Creswell Volleyball tournament. We are excited to welcome you back after our hiatus last year. We pride ourselves on setting up a good tournament and bringing in quality teams that will provide good matchups for everyone. The gym will be open at 7:30am for teams to come in and get ready, and each team will have an area in our cafeteria (The Commons) to put their stuff in. The coaches meeting will be at 7:50am to discuss the tournament. Please bring your own balls for warm ups.

There will be a $6 entry charge for spectators, and MUST be purchased through our website prior to entry (www.creswellathletics.com/event-tickets). Food will be provided for coaches and referees in a hospitality room. The Creswell HS Booster Club will provide concessions that will be open from 8:00am– 2:00pm for teams and spectators.

Pool play games will be two sets to 25 with a 25 pt. cap. Bracket play will follow pool play. There will be a championship and a consolation bracket. While filling out the brackets we will make adjustments to keep teams from playing the same teams from their pool in first round (if possible). Bracket play will be 2 out of 3. First two sets to 25 with no cap and third set to 15 with no cap. Teams are responsible for lining and scoring during pool play and check with the tournament director for lining and scoring duties during bracket play. Coin flips to determine home team. There will be a 14 min. warm up for the first two rounds. After the first two rounds there will be a 6 min warmup.

After pool play, the 1st, 2nd, and the top two 3rd place finishers will go into an Eight team championship bracket and the bottom 3rd and 4th place teams will play a match (2 out of 3 sets).

If there is a tie for bracket seeding, we will use

• head to head
• sets won
• total point differential
• if it is still a tie we will flip a coin.
